I'm so sorry for butchering your characters, ~Susano-Reborn and ~Reymonkey I tried not to, honest! So this is to slap Tegan in the face and get her to start trying to get back to her normal centaur form 'cause it's real hard to get any real story going with her when she's stuck like this! So here we go, ignore the massive plot holes, mainly that I have no idea if Delwin would ever visit Sen'nahen or if he did whether Alcippe would let him lead her around like this XD Yes I could have drawn generic centaurs but any excuse to draw other people's characters is good enough for me!

They'd been riding for some hours through a section of the desert where fantastic sculptures, bridges and tunnels had been carved out of the red rocks by the wind and sand. The area was a popular route for travelers heading to the capital and also for locals merely enjoying the sights. Tegan's master was one of the many inhabitants that often visited the spot and today they'd toured a large section of the maze of sandstone and were now heading back to his palace.

They were about to cross the final bridge onto the path that would lead them home when a pair of travelers heading in the opposite direction blocked their path. The prince waved them across and Tegan stood patiently to the side of the bridge to allow them passage. From a distance they'd looked like a pair of riders, a woman and a kid on spotted horses but as they drew nearer, Tegan's eyes widened and she stared at them in shock. For the humans and horses weren't separate beings but one and the same. Centaurs. The recognition slammed into her and her body froze as the pair trotted past, the foal leading the mare excitedly on. They barely noticed Tegan as they passed, nodding their thanks to her master. She was just some mindless horse after all. But she wasn't. On seeing them, she knew suddenly with a bone deep certainty that she was not just some horse. She wasn't a horse at all! She was one of them! She was a centaur. Or at least she was meant to be. There had to be a way to turn her back and if there was, she would find it.
