It's inspired by Lover's End by The Birthday Massacre. [link]

My friend is a Soul Eater fan and LOVES the pairing Crona and Maka. So that's what this is, in a way.
From what others fans have said, Maka is kind of like an "angel" or something, so... I guess I used that idea? They're dead (or something) and the scary guy in the back killed them and took their souls... or something.

The guy in the back is *RolosLover 's character, Zushakon, which is basically Crona as a Kishin - thing. I don't really know what that means either.

I had the idea of the pose (Crona and Maka's poses) for a different picture, but then used it here first. I'll work on the other picture too. It'll be good practice to get me to draw different people's faces ... differently.
Crona's arms are weird like that because I like disconnected joints, especially when they just float around and are still in control of the person. Like Bongo-Bongo from The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. That boss was awesome. He was just minding his own business playing his drum, and when you shot both his hands, he just wanted to see WHAT hit him! Then you kill him. It's okay, Bongo-Bongo, everyone's a critic.

Anyhoo... sorry for the rambling! I'm kind of giddy that I finished this, and I'm kinda happy with the result too.... I kind of like it.
