This is a from polo match I just got back from! One of the riders was 13 (he was so cute!)! Oh and I got to throw the first ball, and keep it, too! It was so much fun!What's polo?
Polo originated in Persia. Polo is sport on horses where you have a long-handled mallet and a ball to hit through two goal posts. The game stops at 8 points, and each goal is worth 2 I think. It usually lasts a half hour, and it is divided into breaks called "chukkers". At each break, the player switches horses, or "polo pony", however they are horse, so the horses aren't over-stressed. There are 2 teams with 4 players on each team.
