This, gotta say, is probably my favorite in this series so far, and I'm having a ton of fun putting these together. I started on the one, and now I can't stop! It feels really good to get work done on a project that I've had in mind for years, I guess.
One more in my hands set! I have a few more ideas I want to play with, expect more of these to come.
Done in my (BRAND NEW) Photoshop CS5. This thrills me beyond belief. Took.... oh, about five hours, I think? and 35 layers, though a lot of that is text. Probably about ten layers or so of text alone, at least, because I have yet to figure out PS's nuances and tips. Lyrics c/o Counting Crows' song, Big Yellow Taxi.

I really like this one. Also how each one is sort of it's own colour scheme, blue yellow red so far.
But for real, yo. This is just...I love it. First off just the hand. I mean the fingers, knuckles, shading etc are all great, yeah, whatever. Fabulous. But then the part....the wrist, I believe? The shading there is just really great. And it's a detail I've never really seen or known how it would happen, then you did it.
Mostly I just love the feeling with this one, and how.....impressive. Visually and emotionally.

I like this one, and I am curious, is that supposed to be water? because when I look at it, I get a sinking feeling, almost as If I'm underwater, and I'm watching the surface get further and further away. I think it is very powerful. Nicely done.
