Description I have a sleep over, Nicole thought as she went drove into Christy's driveway. Christy had invited Nicole to a "Knockout-Night" at her place. "Knockout-Night" meant most of the TNA Knockouts come over for the night and party. And still Nicole has no idea why Christy had invited her.

She must of been the last person to come over for the party. There was already like ten cars parked in the drive way. She was glad that there was actually space. So, she climbed out of her sports car and headed to the front door. Almost stumbling on the way up because it was so dark outside. Then, she knocked on the door and Emma was there to answer it.

"It's 'bout time you show up!" Emma said, letting Nicole in. "Hey, y'all! Nikki's here!"

All the girls turned to stare at Nicole. She frozen in her steps. All the different colors of eyes and different women wrestlers made her nervous. She had nothing in common with these girls at all. Only except two. And that would be Christy and Emma-the girls she grew up with in Tampa. Christy came skipping in the room with Velvet Sky and sprinted over to her best friend.

"I thought you weren't gonna come," Christy said. "What took you so long?"

"I was talking to my butt-hole of a manager," Nicole answered, trying to keep focus on only Christy.

"Well, anyways... I want to introduce you to the Knockouts!" Christy grabbed her arm and dragged her closer to the women. "These are the ones I hang out with, of course. Especially Velvet Sky!" Then, Christy showed her to Angelina Love, Taylor Wilde, Maddison Rayne, Tara, and SoCal Val. "Everyone, this is Nicole Lightsons. My best friend that I grew up with in Tampa with Emma."

SoCal Val was the first to talk. "I've seen you around. Weren't you a journalist for the TNA team about four years ago?"

Nicole nodded nervously. "Yeah, only for four months though. Just to get credit for college."

"But now you're a singer, right? I saw you perform on Impack and you were amazing!"

"Yes, but I don't think my music is all that great though..."

Christy put her hands on her shoulders. "C'mon now, Nikki! Alot of people thought your music was great and you know it!"

"I guess so," Nicole muttered. She went to go sit on the couch with Emma who was texting her boyfriend Alex Shelley.

Taylor Wilde pulled out a beer from the mini fridge that was near the flat screen TV's table. "Okay, it's time to tell our newest dark secrets! Angelina, go turn off all the lights. Tara, Maddison, go get the scented candles! We got to make this perfect for our little Nikki."

Lights flashed off and Tara and Maddison came hurring into the room with lit up candles. Everyone gathered around the coffee table that was in front of the couch where Emma and Nicole sat quietly. The only thing bright that filled the room was the screen of Emma's iPhone.

"Turn that damn thing off and play our game, Emma!" Taylor demanded, sitting on the floor with the others.

Nicole whispered to Emma, "What are we doing?"

"Remember how in high school we used to do this? Well, it's more different and more childish. Just play along with it cuz I do." Emma slupped down the floor sitting beside Tara.

Nicole did the same, sitting inbetween Val and Emma. Then, they started the game. Telling everyone their dark secrets.

First, Velvet Sky told hers. "Alright, I volunteer to go first. My secret is that... I actually had a crush on Christian Cage."

Everyone gasped.

"Well, coming out of a Canadian like me, Christian was pretty cute," Angelina smurked. "You go girl!" She gave Velvet a high five.

"OK, Val, you're next!" Velvet said.

Val flushed. "Remember when I was dating Jay Lethal? And Sonjay Dutt was trying to win me away from Jay? Well, the whole time, I was actually feeling something for Jay. But I'm actually glad it didn't go anywhere far, you know."

Taylor's jaw hung low. "Val, I'm feeling it. I totally know what you mean."

"Yeah, it's just I felt like Jay and I would actually stay together. But once I realized that our relationship had to become a storyline with Sonjay, I was just happy our relationship didn't go too far."

"Well, he did ask you to marry you," Tara said.

"Umm, excuse me? Storyline?" Val finished. "I like to hear something out of you, bitchy prissy."

Tara squinted her eyes. "You wanna know about my secret? I'll tell you my secret." She wrapped her arm around Maddison Rayne. "I love this chick right here." She gave her a peck on the check.

Maddison did a loud, witch-like laugh. "Oh, Tara!"

"Okay..." Christy pondered. She turned to Nicole. "What about you, Nicole? Huh? Do you have one?"

Nicole's neck snapped in her best friend's direction. Oh, you bet she has a secret. Too dark for anyone to know. And if anyone would find out, all the girls might go psycho. If she told anyone that she likes Chris Sabin deeply, she would never show up to another TNA tapping again just to hang out.

She couldn't trust anyone around the coffee table except Emma and Christy. Nicole could tell them. She just couldn't tell Taylor, Tara, Velvet, Angelina, Maddison, or Val.

Well, Val might be an exception. That was the only girl out of the bunch who would actually speak to her.

"No. I don't wann-"

Val cut her off. "Now, there has to be a secret deep down inside of you just waiting to get out! Or, let me rephrase this all for you. Is there anyone at TNA that you have a crush on? There's gotta be one!"

She caught her there. Nicole didn't want to say. But if she didn't want to look like a whissy not to tell, then she has to say something.

And so she did. "Well, um, there's this one guy..."

Val gasped. "Oh my gosh! Tell me!"

Nicole blushed. "I like Chris Sabin," I mumbled softly.

All the girls got very quiet. Especially Val. Even Emma put her iPhone down because of the shockness.

"Chris Sabin?" Val questioned.

Velvet and Angelina began to laugh. Taylor took a sip out of her beer and muttered "Poor girl". Maddison and Tara were shocked. And as for Christy and Emma, they kept making "Aww" and "How sweet!" sounds.

Nicole couldn't help that she liked her newest best friend. They've been hanging out so much within four months now, no wonder Nicole had a crush on him!

"What's so funny?" Val asked the Beautiful People.

The two blondies kept laughing. "Like Chris will ever let her lay down for him!" Velvet shouted out while giggling. "Nicole, no offince, but me and Angelina had dated Chris before and you are too much of a dork for him."

Tears began to fill her eyes. Now, she was going to cry like a little girl.

Taylor stood up. "Velvet Sky, what the hell do you know about laying down for a man? Oh wait. You've already layed down for every man in the locker room. Cause they sure know how to talk trash about you on how horrible you are at it! Besides, Chris and little Nick over there would go great together. They're both dorks!"

Great. That's all that Taylor and Velvet know how to do. That's name calling.

Velvet stood up and got up in Taylor's face. "You better take that back, bitch! Or you have it coming for ya."

"I see why Chris left you," Taylor muttered.

"Oh yeah? He left the first night after fucking you up!"

"At least I was so much better at the rodeo than you were!"

Their voices got so high, Christy just had to yell over the girls to shut them up. But that didn't work as they kept screaming at each other. Then, suddenly, Emma shouted:

"Could ya just shut the hell up! You two were both suckish! That's why Chris Sabin left you both!"

Angelina chuckled. "I still don't see how Alex hasn't left you yet."

Emma squinted her eyes. "Excuse me?"

"Well, I don't see how Alex hasn't left you. I mean, I heard that you don't give him as much pleasure when I gave it to him."

"Oh, sorry, Angelina. I don't speak Canadian. So, if you don't shut your pie hole, I might have to shut you up and send you stright back to Canada land where you belong."

Angelina stood up. "Why don't you just admit he doesn't really love you!"

"I have no idea what you are talking about. Alex Shelley and I are in love We've been in love for a year now and that's none of your concern. So, you should just admit that you are SO jelious of me because I have the man you used to have. That loves me more, I might add."

"That's not what I heard," Angelina muttered under her breath.

Emma shot up. "That's it bitch!"

Tara and Maddison got inbetween the two girls. Trying to start what might happen is a fight.

Nicole crawled up and ran out of the room and went upstairs. Sitting highway up the stair case, pouring her little heart out. Crying like she was five again.

SoCal Val hurried after her. Finding her there on the stair case and sitting right beside her. Giving her a hug and telling her it's alright.

"Nicole, I don't have a problem you liking Chris Sabin," Val said quietly. "Ignore what those freaks in there think. They don't even know what they are even talking about."

"I just hope he doesn't find out," Nicole muttered.

"Or what if he does? And then he might ask you out. I've seen you two hanging out during and after the show. You two are like best buddies. I don't think he'll have a problem not liking you. Actually, I do think you two are great for each other."

"Really?"

"Yes, really. And tomorrow when you see him, I want you to tell him how you feel. Just remember everything that I tell you, alright?"

Nicole shook her head. Then, Val took her back downstairs where everyone had left Christy's. This had to be the worst Knockout's night ever. A first for Nicole and especially a last.

///////////////////////

The next day went more smoothly. Nicole and Christy arrived at the Orlando Studios. The first thing she wanted to do was go see Chris Sabin. So, she departed away from Christy and went to the Motorcity Machine Guns's locker room. Finding only Chris in the room and not Alex. Which is a good thing.

"What's up Nicole," Chris said, pealing away from the TV screen. He had been playing Call of Duty: Black Ops and was addicted to it. He was already up to level 30 in Zombies.

Come on, just tell him! Nicole thought. The words that SoCal Val told her last night repeated in her head. Only looking at Chris made her heart hurt. Not wanting to tell him how she felt about him anymore.

"You okay? Are you sick?" he asked, coming over to her. "You seem kinda pale."

Finally, she said, "Can we hang out after the show?"

His blue eyes brighten. "Of course! Right after me and Alex's match, we'll catch a movie or go to Dave and Buster's."

"'Kay, just wanted to know."

"You wanna play Black Ops?" he aske suddenly.

She smiled. "Sure!" Hopefully this will take her mind off things.

Nicole didn't want to spend the rest of the day just feeling her gut beating her to death. Wanting to tell Chris how she felt. Just the way they were, just friends, was fine with her.

For now, at least.
