Back story:
For anyone who's been following me for a while, you've heard about the blonde man I have dreams about sometimes.
If you're new to me, well here's the story:
For as long as I can remember, I've dreamt about a man with blonde hair. The dreams he appears in are always horrible: fire, death, and pain. He's dangerous, and I know this as true. I've never met this man in real life, and never seen anyone who looks even remotely like him outside of dreams. Well, fastforward 15, maybe 16 years, and I'm still having the dreams. he ages as I do.
I've been seeing him alot lately.
Usually, I can't tell his features beyond the blue eyes and blonde hair. His face is usually a blur of indistinguishable features.
The other day though, I saw more than that. The image of the glimpse of his face has been burned in my brain ever since.
So I started this drawing. This was hard because I have never seen this man outside of dreams. Seeing him in this context is strange.
Not crazy about how the hair turned out, but I think this is the best I can do. The closest I can get to capturing him in some form.
I'm tired of obsessing over this drawing, but god, I can't get over how surreal it is to look at this picture of a man who technically doesn't exist. Yet, at the same time, he means so much to me.
The world is a crazy place sometimes.
