xD I think that people's styles evolve from the things they do "wrong". x3 Your style will evolve to be more "right", but you'll always have your unique way of drawing things!

I really enjoy that you compared your style to realistic anatomy. It shows off the uniqueness of your style while showing that whilst you usually use your more laid back style you still have the artistic eye and skill to use more realism. Very cool!

That's really smart of you and extremely kind and thoughtful that you would never go about commenting anothers work without first being able to analyze your own work, kinda brilliant haha if only more people were less critical like you! [link] is in my top 8 most visited sites in my computer history x)!

I just figure it's a matter of professional courtesy and a way to avoid so much of the internet drama that results from honest critique. You can give much better, helpful, and honest critiques/advice to other artists if you're willing to turn that scrutinizing eye on your own work. It's not really a matter of being less critical and more of a matter of being self aware.
BUT I DIGRESS FROM MY ART MAJOR.
XD
Thanks for being such a big fan of TGP! Have you also checked out Beyond Rapture ? I do the art over there, boyfriend does the writing.

Hahah well it's a good either way. AND YES I do follow Beyond Rapture, not quite as hard core as I follow Gods Pack but I am REALLY enjoying the idea of anthros and humans coexisting..or maybe the opposite haha, he's doing a really good job with the story!

Yeah, BR is a very different experience from TGP. Ben and I heavily advertised BR on TGP initially but we knew that in the long run, they're for different audiences so we don't really expect hardcore TGP fans to be as into BR.
But Ben's writing is really awesome, so if anything, that's the thing to stick with BR for. I'm still adjusting and tweaking the artwork and style, so it's probably going to be similar to TGP's early days in that it will be less than ideal for awhile.

That's pretty normal. Eventually you'll learn to blend your own instincts in and it won't really resemble anyone else's anymore.

Really Cool! :]] I didn't know if I'd end up like the guy who made Naruto's brother, who learn from the same person...so ppl thought he copied NAruto...until the creator of Naruto told everyone that they are brothers and they learned to draw from the same person

I learned to draw wolves from the work of SnowySMT. I think you can see a lot of influence of her style in my early work (ex: [link] ). But it's the difference that will eventually overpower the influences of the original artist you learn from (Ex: about a year later... [link] ) Just keep drawing and you'll get it eventually.
