Description
This is Sheba. She was a cocker spaniel cross, who looked a lot like a miniature golden retriever.
Sheebs was my best friend's dog. She passed away earlier this year, and we all miss her.

I started this portrait months and months ago, even had a frame set aside for it, but didn't work on it for a long time. I decided to try and finish it for Yule for my friend. It was down to the wire since we do gift exchanges earlier -- today was the day we could fit it in (I'm always out of town with family on 25th).
I was really not happy with the drawing until this afternoon, because I knew Sheba so I know exactly what she is supposed to look like, and it seemed glaringly obvious if she didn't look quite right.
But I gave it some more time and finally got it looking how I wanted it.

So since the gift is now with the rightful owner, I can post it here.

More art to come after the holidays since I've been making gifts this year as much as I could.
