Description
In this shot, I wanted to mess with Helio's full body, but I wanted an action shot too. So I took a risk. I drew this with the idea that a very powerful punch from a certain someone sends her back. But she still has the feral in her from being corrupted, so she curls her body in and down to keep from falling into vulnerability. This pulls a very aggressive reaction out of her. I mean, who wants to be punched??
The risk was that I'd never drawn something like this before. I have trouble drawing humanoids on a good day, and avoid it if possible. So there was no telling this anatomy heavy shot would look good. So after hours of sketching and tweaking and almost giving up, this piece really does make me proud.
