Description
Lydia in her gryphon form, from my comic book "Spiral", which you can find in back issues of Radio Comix's "Mangaphile". If you're familiar with the story, you know that Lydia has not quite yet learned how to fly, but she's working on it! I "wanna fly", too- I'm just waiting on that "wind current" (aka a new art job) to pick up....Drawn in mixed media- marker, colored pencil, and pen.

woooo nicely done! really good texture, as if you could reach out and touch the fur/feathers! nice shading/colouring, especially on the beak, and the expression is great, very human, even on an animal!! way to go!
