Commission for a family member.This took me all day! I worked very hard on this one. The sunset was really hard for me to do! but I got it down to where I like it. I messed up several times on the eyes of the wolf on the left, I kept redoing its eyes until my grandma told me they looked right. And then at some point on the wolf on the right, I spilled gold paint on it!!! I got extremely mad and I actually started crying a little lol
but I fixed it the best I could. Overall I'm satisfied with how it came out, I wanna keep it myself xD lol but can't so that's why I'm gonna be making prints of this! 
I'm not sure what size yet or how many, but I will make a journal when the prints are made.Anyway tell me what you guys think! This is my best painting I've done all year that I am personally very proud of.

This piece is amazing! I have tried working with paint before... It's not easy! The colors you chose are perfect, and I think you did the sky flawlessly. The shadows and highlights of the wolves are awesome. You obviously put a ton of effort into this.
When I first looked at this painting, I got the uneasy feeling that I was about to be attacked by a couple hungry wolves! The work of the eyes is perfect and natural looking. The scenery is beautifully reminiscent of an Alaska landscape,NAND though there are a couple dangerous looking wolves there, I feel at ease.
The only issue I see with this piece is the muzzle of the wolf on the left. That's a hard angle to pull off. I can't do it with a pencil, so I can't imagine how you could fix that with paint... Possibly make it a bit darker on the left side of the muzzle by chance? That could give it more body and make it more naturally round. ^^

The pink sunset is a nice touch, I like how the snow reflects the light and recedes into more of a blue shade to the left of the painting where the lighting is not so strong. The wolves are beautiful and the one in the back has the perfect expression on his/her face. My only suggestion would be that a faint pinkish lighting on the backs of the wolves to match the colour of the sky would add another level of depth to the image. Overall, a great piece of art.

So, after a few busy days, I finally have the joy to comment on this piece.
The one thing, which first comes to my eyes are... their eyes. The reflection and form are natural and also the anatomy is well done. Their shape is the same of a real life wolf, including a very thick underpelt for the winter. And despite the accident with gold paint, I see nothing of it.
The landscape is also pretty well done and accurate. Some single plants, which struggle against the snow are certainly adding something, which fights the emptiness of the winter.

but I think it needs a slight orange on the wolves' fur especially at the second wolf.
