Description
I experimented with using colored pencils and other dry media on the cover of this sketchbook to see how it holds up with wear-and-tear. I can already say that using ink looks better. D:This will get a better photo update...something happend and a few lines of graphite gouged into the right side of the tree trunk.
MEDIA: Colored pencils, crayon (lol), black and white ink, microns.

I envy your skills of subtle texture with warm color schemes in combination with the excellent lineart. I've probably said that before. This looks so suave. |D Loving the bold lines and the coloring job in general. I'm going to guess you used crayon for larger areas of the coloring?
It almost looks like watercolor. Almost.

I had it all colored penciled, and my family dragged me to cracker barrel where I stumbled upon some crayons. Most of the blue-ish shadows are crayon, as well as some of the reddish areas. c:

So, essentially for shading? Das pretty cool for generic crayons.
