I cannot say exactly - I use a very old 50mm/1.4 Nikon lens with manual focus together with my Nikon D80. The lens does not have a chip, the camera does not catch the aperture mechanically ("Blendenmitnehmer"... don't know the correct english term for this little pin at the camera that is connected to the little pin of the aperture ring at the lens), so I always have to check my settings and the result after each shot in the display and the RAW meta data always show a aperture of 1.0 I think in this case it was aperture 1.4 - the light was extremely "ambient" (that means: it was almost dark even for the eyes), and most of the time I was forced to make the photos with a fully opened aperture or an aperture of 1.8 or maximum 2 with perhaps 15/20/30 sec. aperture time.
