awesome, it is really interesting to me just the fact that those shoes kinda represent 2 different kind of people, and they are in the same picture. Shows we can all be friends.
This pictures is very sharp, I like that, and I also like the desaturation, very nice contrast too.

I kinda think the same. It seems that the people that wear the chucks are either punks or just cool layed back people. Then you have your docks, those would be worn by the preppy people. Then there are basketball shoes, the jocks and the wanna-be jocks. You have your people like me, that wear really comfy thin soled shoes from American Eagle. Payed 20 bucks for em. But I guess this probably isn't exactly what you were talking about, because you were talking more of personality, but thought I would share my thoughts. peace

nah...i sorta think that way
Like for instance...the one wearing the converse on the left is my friend ashley...she's really awesome, laid back, artist-type kind of a girl. She's one of those people who can like...take play jewerly and make it look awesome.
the running shoes on the right belong to my friend sara. she is actually a runner, and they do sorta go along with her personality. she's hardworking and goal orientated, much like a runner is and should be.
then...if you really want to get down to things...you can take me. I have converse that i wear too...though they aren't the cool kind like ashley's. they're brown and are more "fashion forward goes with everything" type of shoes. sorta fits with my personality i suppose...i'm a sorta prep *i really hate stereotypes...lol* but i actually posses individual ideas; ie my photography and writings. *not to say that preps don't...i'm generalizing*
So yeah...shoes are an interesting thing once you get down to it. And if I haven't scared you off with my long explanation...then you're much cooler than I first thought

nope, not at all. I totally agree with you. It is cool that we are both interested in shoes. I'm a prep, but it isn't like just wear khaki's all the time, actually getting tired of my khaki's, but yeah, since you are a "prep" too you probably know what I'm talkin about. lol, I don't know why I knew what I was talkin about right after I was talkin about khaki's. I wasn't really meaning that you should know what I'm talking about, in the subject of khaki's. That was just badly worded I guess.
Or...do you just not know what the def. of a prep is? With my def. of prep I'm not even a "true prep". What a prep would wear would be something like khaki's, a sweater, some sort of leather shoe, stuff like that. But I mostly wear blue jeans and a T-shirt with the same shoes every day, but I still call myself a prep, so it isn't really that big of a deal to me. I guess I just kinda know all this because there are some very preppy people at my school, and my brother too. he has "fashion sense", and I don't mean gay by that either. Anyway...I'm headin to bed, catch yah on the flip side
