Speedpaint: youtu.be/HkqWRdRhVfE Part of my trade with of her character Eric, who is a white werewolf from her novel.
From what I read of his personality he's dominant, confident, and doesn't much care for the likes of humans. I tried expressing this in his stance as he glowered down on mankind's dwellings.
This was my first time drawing a city from an aerial view and my attempt at a sunset, I've only done a handful of them and this one is better that the ones I've done in the past. However, I know the shading is awkward, I made him a little too dark, so please, no critiquing since I'm aware of my mistakes and where I need to improve on.
I had fun drawing him and this was another learning experience for me. Personally, I had fun with the entire thing!!

Thsi picture was the first time I ever really introduced urban life with fantasy. It was a different experience, and it allowed me to know where I need to improve on, cause there are some parts about it I'm embarrassed about. However I really appreciate your eye for detail and I must thank you very much for taking the time to comment

All that purple! It's a nice tone to use instead of black, it makes the lighting so much more interesting.
Have you ever used blurred basic brushes in photoshop? It does a really nice star effect. (I ask because I tried to watch the video you uploaded to youtube but it's been blocked because of copyrights on the music. D

I usually use the pen and then use Gaussian blur, but the blur brush may make it one step easier.
I'll definitely give it a shot when I do another evening picture

And I loved drawing him, it allowed me to enjoy making him big and burly, which I usually can't because most people's character's are narrow wolfies lol

Psshaww! I love any kind of medium (i just use digital cause it's cheaper for me) so whatever you use to create yours is going to be gorgeous regardless! No rush at all!

I have photoshop Cs5, it's pretty expensive. There's also Paint Tool Sai which is immensely cheaper and works practically the same, just takes some getting used to. Sai's only $60-$70 and artist's like Grypwolf use it. I've used it a few times and it's pretty fun, but I'm more used to photoshop now so it's hard to me to move to Sai DX

It was a couple hundred dollars, but CS5 is now considered "old" so it may be cheaper now lol XD
