Animated icon commission for the lovely ! I've wanted to animate a maned wolf for so long now, as well as do something in full color, so this was fantastic practice! It was a lot of fun to do. Thanks so much for the commission, enjoy!Since I am planning on studying animation starting in the fall, critiques are more than welcome c: (I feel I should point out that maned wolves do have this specific gait in which both legs on one side of the body move at the same time, so it is intentional- you can find some fantastic references of this in the BBC Motion Gallery.)

How do you animate in pixels? is this Photoshop?
Anyways, the paintings are great but you do need a bit more work in the motion, especially in when the wolf falls. It' still good, but you could improve that. I'd suggest you do a very rough animation first and change it until the motion is smooth and looks realistic and only then proceed to the real drawings, I sometimes delete more than ten frames if they don't look good, and I can easily burn ten hours trying to improve the motion. You just change it until it's good.
If you want to learn animation faster you can make unfinished rough animations so you only learn about the motion without having to finish everything.
