i totally got my tat today...this was one design i have been wanting to get since i was 16....my parents had a messy split and they cannot talk without fighting but no matter what the one thing they could ever agree on was for me to be safe....i wanted my first tattoo to be well something that relfects them and well i thought this would be the best the font took me the longest to deside till i read the twilight book and saw it and i knew that was the font i wanted

I'll be getting the same quote, however its because of my boyfriend. after 7 years together and an upcoming wedding..He still tells me to "be safe", he's said it since we got together.
I think its beautiful that you got it for you parents.
Mind if I ask. I have four tats, I would like to get "be safe " on my wrist, (a constant reminder) and it would be my first on the wrist. So how bad is it?

well this is on my ankle and i didnt find the tattoo in itself all that bad. it only really "hurt" or "stung" when the guy was going over the bone. But with wrist tattoo's themselves because the skins thinner and there are more noerves the spots more sensitive. Like the most "painful" spots to get tattoos are your spin,wrist and neck or thats what most tattoo artists say. This one didnt even cost that much im not sure where you live but im in Ontario i just went to my local Lucky Devil parlor and asked the guy there i had $60 on me and he said that would be fine, but every tattoo artist out there will give a diff price range ^_^

Thank you for the grats. I'm in Miami, FL. lol. Down here we don't really have Lucky Devil Tattoo parlors. I have my own perferred tattoo shop. I'll have to talk to my artist I guess. I have four tats, one on my left shoulder blade, one on my right calf, one on my outer right hip, and one on my inner right hip. the last two were the ones on my hip and they killed. The one I got on my back when I was sixteen didn't stop bleeding for hours, and the one on my calf down right tickled by comparison to my others. it's be about a year since my last tat, so I'm getting the want.lol
