Description A banner for my Facebook group Saturday Mornings Forever, commemorating the seminal classic The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

For this one, it was hard to find a good large enough full-cast image for the show outside of promo material for the recent movie (which was horrible, by the way). So, I cheated by taking this image, adding a honey effect to fill up the empty space, and finding a hunny jar to sell it. Aside from the "Disney's" logo (which they never should have changed, screw corporate identities), I recreated the show's title. It was easy enough because coincidentally it was made of the same font I use for my Saturday Mornings logo (a subconscious choice, perhaps?).

Makes sense, I think Un-Valentine's Day was the only episode every main character (including Gopher) appeared together. One of the show's few downsides was that Kanga and Roo seldom appeared.

They don't really do all that much in the specials or movies either. I think writers rather spend their time with the others.

I dunno, Roo became VERY prominent during the 2000s Disneytoon Studios era. A lot of the movies and specials around that time practically made him the main character, not to mention the new character Lumpy was connected largely to him. Obviously by relation, Kanga appeared more often as well. Though around that point Gopher and Owl largely disappeared much in the same way Kanga and Roo mostly disappeared during the 90s era.

And now it's being re-broadcast-ed in Germany!

Great for the Germans, but it'd be nice if Disney would put it out for the Americans. So far, the only way to get the show on DVD is to buy several different ones--some of which are really expensive.

I am praying that the show will be included on Disney+.

They haven't really spoken about what shows will be on there, just movies.

Good job . I love the old Winnie The Pooh, one of the best REAL Disney shows, not this "Jessie" and "Jonas Bros" crap! I loved the old Disney cartoons .

Damn right. Disney, unfortunately, became too big and too corporate to the point they've forgotten the formula that made their characters so beloved.

I know, right? If only Walt Disney, the man who brought Mickey Mouse to life, is alive, he'll resurrect the classics. Anyway, you can add me to your watch if you like. Just asking.
