ill uh shade and finish this later but im taking a 'me' day and redesigning some of my own phinleos and also renaming+ changing their story
:3c this girl looks a bit different from the normal drifter, wonder why that is????

Jaida is not really treated like any normal Phinleo in Driiad despite being raised by Ava of the elders council, her egg found seemingly abandoned on the outskirts of the city. She was nearly the height of a adult Phinleo even as a Phinling and is even bigger now. She has some of the typical traits of those native to Driiad but the clear signs of... something else. With the closed-in maze that is Driiad she often ends up bumping and crashing into things, both from being much too large and much too clumsy.

She gets stares and whispers pretty often and was bullied by other Phinlings when she was young for being 'weird'. Jaida really is just a big softy though, desperate for approval and wishing she could fit in.

One day she'll learn to accept and love what makes her different, but it'll be a tough journey.
