Heh- this week has been hell- commuting about 300 miles round trip for a not-very-good opera gig. Fri. and Sat nights are the shows so...next week is lighter, so Gunner will likely be 'round.
The other issue, of course, is that my partner is back after along absence, so we've been getting reacquainted...
LOVE the drawing BTW, though to my eyes, here face looks a little older than I expected.

I'm a bass player inreal. For some absurd reason (the large paycheck?), I allowed myself to be convinced to do a 2-performance run of Hansel and Gretel in a city about 150 mi from where I live, so we've been commuting a LOT this week. The driving wouldn't bother me so if the quality of the orchestra weren't so POOR!
And you're right. Any number of people can look at the same thing and see soemthing different. I guess it's the exoticism of her face that makes me see her as older. Still gorgeous, though, and a great drawing!

Well according to the info I got Alley is like 16(?) but I might have still made her look a little older. Then again most people will interpret the same picture differently.

I'm happy you like how she turned out. Part of me would like to draw a pic of Alley with Po but the part of me that doesn't like to violate continuity (they haven't met yet) prevents me. Any thoughts?
