I've been meaning to try my hand at coloring one of 's illustrations for a while. It was just a matter of finding the time. I guess I found it. I'm not sure why I picked Tifa, aside from the fact that I've been watching Advent Children. If it wasn't Tifa it probably would have been FEBRUARY-Aeris.I had a heck of a time just getting the image to a pure B&W image and when I did I still had to fill the sections by hand. I decided to try my hand at a more cell shaded look, more than I usually do anyway. I like how it turned out but the real judge will be (I hope you like it).
(Why did I give her red eyes? Take a look at some of the pictures of her from FFVII, they look red to me. Also I kind of like the idea that she may be related in some way to Paine from FFX-2)

Actually, at least three others have been colored by others and were also nicely done. I'm not sure how you'll find them though. You could try and check the gallery an/or favorites.

Rikku is in the gallery somewhere or you can check 's gallery. The person who did Lulu also did another (Quistis I think). If you go to and check the general comments you'll see someone say they just finished it. I don't think anyone has done Aerith yet, if I have time maybe I'll have a go at it.

Thanks, just goes to show that if ya put a little more effort into coloring (which I did compared to some of the coloring I did on my own art), that extra effort pays off...I like how it turned out too.

Im VERY impressed! Actually, its funny because I figured it anyone colored her they would make it typical Camo, and I always pictured blue or pink- >.< you did ust that! Anyway, the colors fit nicely- the skin shading is PERFECT- thank you so much!! >.<

Oddly enough the blue was just kind of a placeholder until I figured out what color to use. I briefly considered a white or a grey to go with her usual clothing colors. The more I look at it though I'm liking the blue. As for the background I wanted to keep things simple (and I usually do a basic background for character pics). I am pleased that you like the results.
