I often wondered this whilst playing Megaman 2 on Virtual Console.And yes, I'm painfully aware that was a Simpsons joke I just used.

He feels pain because a blinking light on his forehead isn't much of a warning that he's about to die.
And obviously because he was made as human-like as possible.

The humiliating things he does when he gets hurt are Capcom's fault anyway.

Because pain is not a weakness. If we don't feel pain from fire, how do we know it burns us? How do we know to treat it with caution? If Megaman were any other machine, his inability to feel pain would cramp his battle strategy considerably.

Any mishap that happened to the player was a result of the player's lack of foresight and strategy. There. I hope we learned something.

i dont think the GameCube is RegionLocked like the Wii is, you might be able to get a copy from a US seller and play it on your system.
