With the artblock, it's something I have much experience dealing with.

As for my avatar icon, it's a character I've developed for the universal setting I'm creating.

He's an unnamed character from an unnamed world serving in the army of an unnamed nation. His backstory is one of tragedy, brotherly fallout, exile, reclamation, and a horrific scene of wear he (as a young lieutenant) volunteers for a thing I call the AUGER program (a program used by the unnamed nation's army to turn soldiers who are unfit for duty, who volunteer, or who are of the opposite side into living war machines of DEATH and DESTRUCTION. Most "volunteers" end up mentally, emotionally, or physically scarred by the intensive surgery process). Finally, he becomes the battle commander of the AUGER division, leading something relatable to Germany's WW2 Panzer squadrons. 

Oh yes, and due to the AUGER surgery, his scarred upper facial area is replaced with a mechanical visor, with only vision to one eye restored. He also has a biomechanical hand, and his legs are beaten into a bloody mess by the mech braces he wears.

OH HAPPY DAY. BRING OUT THE ANESTHESIA AND PUT ME UNDER.
