Description This week I've been doing some digital sketches of animals on the ole Wacom tablet. I'm still figuring things out quite a bit, but I thought I'd post a couple of "progress" pics of a Cassowary and African Elephant.

What ~NewtMan said! We used to have a pair of Cassowaries at the Cleveland Zoo, but they sent them away to expand our African Elephant exhibit. Interesting that you should draw them together. LOL.

haha. That is a really strange coincidence. Especially since the Cassowary comes first.

That's bizarre that they got rid of the cassowaries. You'd think that people would be pretty interested to see them.

I'm hoping they'll make a new space for them and get them back, but I don't think that's gonna happen. They really are interesting birds, though.

They are pretty awesome! I've never actually seen one before, even in a zoo. I'd love to see one in the wild sometime though.
