Prince Na'Zeen

The Island of Anthroa is an uncharted island located in the Pacific Ocean between the continental United States and Hawaii . During the 1930s, the island was used as a staging ground for a top secret research facility funded by billionaire inventor Thaddeus Monroe. One of their scientists, Doctor Grandall, was responsible for conducting experiments that evolved experiments on the animal species with human DNA, resulting in the creation of Anthros. The project was terminated following the death of the scientist and staff at the labs, thinking that a private military would calm the populace into submission a raid on the island was deployed. Death on both sides turned the once private island paradise into a war zone. It was only after Monroe's life was spared by the chosen leader of the Antros Ka'zar a lion/human hybrid did Monroe see them as more than experiments but as beings of intelligence and morals. Leaving the islands inhabitants to themselves Monroe managed to hide all knowledge of the island from the rest of the world , erasing it from all maps and leaving it in his will that his heirs must also use the latest technology to hide the island from the rest of the world

And it would have remained hidden if not for a small private plane carrying the Pop singer Traisee had not crashed into the ocean near the island. After a lengthy search of the surrounding area by her record label 'Jumpin Jive' records, who dispite the warnings of Monroe Inc, went into a private unauthorized area and found not only the wreckage of the plane but the singer herself. Whom had been living quietly on the island under the watchful eye of the ruler and King Na'Zar of the lion clan and had become close to the King's son Prince Na'Zeen. Her record label wasting no time jumped at the chance to use the PR of not only her rescue but the island and boadcasted it all online.

Now after many months of political and human rights debates and constant interferance of government bodies it is desided to leave the inhabitants of Island Anthroa be left alone, while Prince Na'Zeen joined the world of man as an ambassador of his people.

Na'Zeen is fascinated by the food and cultres of the outside world and soon found a international celebrity with an adoring fan base, because of his association with Traisee. He also has found the huge negatives of such a exposer can lend to as many of the pop singers fans and haters despise him leading to many a fight with supervillians, for some odd reason. (Who knew Barron Destruction was a fan of the pop starlet.) It was his constant presence online that he caught the attention of the superhero community whom soon offered him a place among their ranks.

This started out as something else and after like the 3rd version of it said "ah the hell with it." and made a generic cat/tiger guy. His face was the simplest part as I knew I wanted him to have longer sideburn and wild hair that was not too much of a literal lion mane. the logo was fun to figure out as I wanted to be both a "hey im a lion" and still superhero chest logo. now he doesn't need to wear boots, but he does only as he is self conscious of people staring at his feet, the boots them self are more like martial art/ninja shows as they offer some protection but are not restrictive. his black stripes I added just cuz I wanted to break him up the solid color of his fur and also I felt 'why not' its not like there are any rules that say he cant look a certain way.

Why a large 2 handed mace, I don't know, it just worked somehow. my fav part is the 3 cat toy feathers I added to the pommel of the mace. I can just see him. resting the mace on its heavy end and just patting them a little as he is lost in thought.
