Description
This started as a PS sketch of a generic wolf. I colored it grey to practice dynamic shading.Then I gave color to its eyes & it became Atrasol.
Atrasol is easily identified in BoTW by his bi-colored eyes. He's one of the few characters who have these eyes, along with Brielle & two others who I have yet to introduce.
Atrasol was one of my first designs, he was meant to be the polar opposite of Sheiki, which is as cliche as it comes. Instead of angel wing markings he has demonic ones, he's "black" (grey actually, I hate coloring black fur, it's a pain) instead of white & his personality is cocky & recalcitrant, whereas Sheiki is modest & obediant.
I actually love Atrasol because he's a "flawed" character. In reality he's very much like Sheiki, which leads to his eventual change of heart. I don't want to give away any spoliers but since BoTW won't be coming out to the public for another two years plus, I sometimes leak information.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy I love how this turned out! The style looks different for some reason, but I can't put my finger on it... Hrm... Maybe it's the badass shading. B)
Awww his WHISKERS. *pulls on them* You should do a whole series of BoTW characters like movie screenshot captions! You know, he reminds me so much of this character in Vampire Diaries. Like, you don't even know. But that character's my all time favorite, so you can see why I love Atrasol so much.

I've been experimenting with style lately, & Atra just happened to be my "over the top Disney" doggy. But I failed there, & came through with a hybrid of Don Bluth & My older style.
