Description
This is probably the most complex rotation arrangement I've done but it's turned out great. For those of you who don't know about my orb animations they're to do with a story I'm creating. For more info about the orbs look at this deviation: [link] and the rest of my gallery.
This specific set of orbs is for the father of one of the main characters, Rowan, who happens to be the ruler of the race of giants in the region. Which I guess make Rowan, Cole and Gale royalty or aristocracy in some way.

Anyway, back to the emoticon. These are the 10 fundamental elements as I see them rotating around Aether the mysterious 5th element. The 10 elements are a mix of western and chinese elements aswell as ice, energy (electrical), light, and darkness. Light and darkness revolve freely from the other 8 elements which gives the formation a kind of atomic quality (the electrons, first ring 2, following rings up to 8 electrons each). Anyway, this formation relates to the ability to transmute the elements, eg, creating metal from air, changing water into fire etc. That is the character who possesses its power.

The Aether Orb in the centre bobs up and down, and the Light and Darkness Orbs follow that movement to. The other Orbs act as a kind of containment ring. Although the Aether Orb is rarely seen I think this is good as it makes it more mysterious.

32 frames, originally 16 but didn't run smoothly. Not as hard as you'd think to make but I did it in MS Paint and had to adjust it several times.
