Description This is the Rainmeter theme based on the Steam game service UI and webdesign by Valve Software.

The skin is designed for 1920x1080 resolution, but should look good on any screen size.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________

The skin includes following:

✔ System Up time, System Time
✔ CPU/GPU Usage and Temp ( 2 ,4 and 8 cores included )
✔ HDD Meters ( 5 Disks )
✔ HDD Read/Write
✔ RAM and SWAP usage meter
✔ NET Down/Up with IP information
✔ MUSIC PLAYER with progress bar, controls and volume
✔ GAMESLIST that is easily customized and connected to steam
✔ NOTEPAD
✔ IP Tracklocation in map
✔ TIMEDATE with calender
✔ FEEDS (4Feeds added)
✔ FRIENDLIST connected to steam
✔ WIFI
✔ GMAIL
✔ µTORRENT
✔ CALENDER

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

To make the CPU/GPU Usage to properly work you'll need MSIAfterburner.dll by Stangowner's and Unwinder's Msi Afterburner program. And for the temperatures you need Speed Fan.

Links and instructions are in the "Readme" file.

ok, I love this skin a lot, I red the read me, but still cant get the idead of what goes where . with rainmeter all I've had to deal with is a Skin's folder . This one has a Skin's folder"Which I assume goes into the rainmeter skin's dir, then there's a layout's folder which I have no idea where it goes, then a bitmap file, a RMSkin INI file that I don't know where that goes, everything else is cake. lol just don't know what folder's go where

Not sure what the problem is...everything should go automaticly when you use the RMSkin. The folder will apear in the rainmeter skin folder. Anyway you should try out 3.0 version here. [link] Its allot better

This looks AMAZING and I'd love to use it but I don't know how to set it up. It looks weird when I tried to set it up as you did and I can't set it up any other way. I'd love if you'd upload a theme which sets it up like the picture automatically.

The skin already have an easy solution for that . In the Gamelist you see feeds and system - In the system list are all skins included and prefixed to the center of your screen. They are hidden and will disappear if your refresh the skin after adding them. If you want to keep them on the screen, you have to add each of them separate from the gamelist. Its not a great solution and I am currently working on 3.0 that will make it all allot easier.

Thanks, that helped a ton! I've got most of the stuff sorted out except my SteamID. Which ID do I put in the box? Because whichever ID I put (Steam name, Steam ID, Steeam Community ID etc.) it just puts exactly what I put into the Steam ID box and doesn't update my Most Played Game. Any help?

As well as this, I can't change the Game List (Nothing happens when I press the button to change it) and I can't move the Computer/Library bar above the grey bar near the top of the screen. This is really annoying me and I don't mean to be a pain, but any help at all would be appreciated.

Log in to your steam community and edit your profile. There you can define your own URL name. It will look like this after you add one: ([link] ) This is the name you will use in the skin. Also to add friends, you will need there URL name.

If the link to the gamelist does not work you can access it by going to SteamInterface\Configs\GamesList.INC.

And last to make the Computer/Library bar to go wherever you want just right click the skin, go to settings, and unhook "Hold on screen"

Hope this helps

I've managed to edit the Games List and it's looking good.
I still can't manage to get the "Most Played Game" to show up and I've tried unticking "Hold on Screen" but when I pull it higher than the grey bar it comes back down to the bar. I'm really confused on that one.
Thanks in advance, you've been really patient and helpful.

The "Most Played Game" is measured from "h t t p://steamcommunity.com/id/#steam.id#?xml=1", it only works when you type in your steamID. Not sure what to do with your "jumping" skin...I believe its something in the code then. Will look into it. What resolution do you have on the screen?

Sir-Porkchop In reply to WoodooWolf [2012-10-08 16:40:06 +0000 UTC]

My screen resolution is 1366x768.

Still can't get the Most Played Game to show up, but it might be me being a complete idiot. I'll look further into that.

Thanks a billion! It fixed it and everything is running smoothly! This is probably one of the best looking themes I've seen and it goes really flexibly with some other skins I like.

WoodooWolf In reply to Sir-Porkchop [2012-10-08 17:40:11 +0000 UTC]

well the skin is designed for 1920x1080, so with your screen resolution the wallpaper will be squished. Thats why it seems you cant get it to the right place. Easiest thing to do is to make a wallpaper that goes with it. Try this one: [link] not sure if it will fit, if not send me a screenshot of your screen.

WoodooWolf In reply to sickley [2012-09-26 00:39:53 +0000 UTC]

yea, I know about the problem. It happens when you refresh the skin...and it seems not to be able to load. You need to exit rainmeter and open it again. Then it loads without problem. Have not found a solution to the problem yet.

How would I add more games to the list? I have like, 100 games.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

WoodooWolf In reply to sofaking6 [2012-08-28 18:28:49 +0000 UTC]

you need to edit the Gamelist. Just copy / paste and rename to the game you want to add...and in the config file you add the steam Link

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

WoodooWolf In reply to WoodooWolf [2012-09-18 18:50:14 +0000 UTC]

In the new version I have added a "gamelist" where it is very simple to change them...but you still have to add icons to the icon folder.

just install the newest version of rainmeter and it will work.

Droganis In reply to WoodooWolf [2012-10-16 16:59:43 +0000 UTC]

The reason it is saying the version is not supported from what I just searched is that the OS you put is not any one of the old systems. Happened to me with Vista Home Premium, manually installed the skin and seems to be working fine.

I'm going to work on a GIMP template to make creating wallpapers for this really easy, because I plan on having the background cycle like it does when you select a game on Steam. I'm only going to be making it for 1366x768 screens, though, but I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult for someone else to alter the template
