This is the Empire at the time of Nero's death, in 68 AD.
Augustus, who wanted his successors not to expand the empire any further, has not been listened...
He has not been totally ignored either, as the new annexations concerned former client kingdoms, such as Mauretania, Cappadocia or Commagene near the Euphrates river.
Nero, who became emperor in 54 AD, tried to get a better grip on the shores of the Black Sea by controlling Taurica (Crimea) and Colchis (Western Georgia).
Another goal was to protect Rome from its hereditary foe : Parthia.

But this great empire is now in turmoil as Nero killed himself, not long after having been declared enemy of the state ("hostis publicus") by the senators...
