Because everyone who read the Pain arc knows it was just ONE BIG FLAMING PILE OF CRACK.And that is fun.
So yeah, the first thing I thought of when everyone just came MAGICALLY BACK TO LIFE LOL was how Edward would just go "WTF BITCH" and then beat the crap out of whoever did it. Because bringing dead people back to life is bad, k?
This is only one of the many FMA comics I have stewing up in my brain. Also, drunk monkeys on crack could draw Al better than I can.

Wahaha! Yeah, the Pain arc raises some interesting questions about the laws of possibility in the Naruto universe (as in, there are none). The only good thing about it is that Kakashi's not dead... which just about gave me a heart attack when I thought he was.

(I'll tell you a secret: Kishi was on vacation for the last half of that arc, so the publishers hired a third grader to finish it for them. Which is how we ended up with the magical life-saving beam of rainbows and sunshine and ponies.)
