Description Something of a self-portrait.
There`sa striking similarity 'tween this and "Mustelidae" by . Hence I hesitated posting this in my gallery for fear I`d be seen as a plagiarist.

EDIT
I've re-uploaded this with the original as opposed ti the photocopy. Unfortunately the inks have gone a bot pink over time.

I think you did great at depicting the unity - or rather communication? - between the badger and the shaman/you. There's both strenght and fearless acceptance in the man's pose... and perhaps it's the only way how to face those claws...
Wonderful use of grayscale, too. At first it seems to be in the night, but then I can't help seeing it as a different sort of reality rather than a time of a day.

Thanks so much. As for the colours amd the environment, the original was done using warm grey-brown markers, a kind of sepia pallette, this is a B&W photocopy, and I was trying to capture an altered sense of reality, a waking dream.

similar theme, with the tree as the centre piece, in a stone circle with myself emerging from the tree. I haven't decided whether to include any other images yet

Wow just looking at this brought back feelings of self-awareness in different areas of forests I've been in over the past couple of years. This is amazing artwork.

Thank you, it's very special to me as it was one of my late wife's favourite pieces.

Thanks, Badgers tend to creep uninvited into my art sometimes, it`s a running joke that my Yule cards will eventually evolve into "spot-the-badger". One of my grandmother`s favourite sayings was "Tough as a badger and twice as stubborn."

Greywolf would never say that...don't worry..she's very friendly....heck she even made badger art and named it after me hehe...she barely knew me then...if some one yelled art thief..it'd be someone else...believe me
