Description Here is the completed ref for my new species that I adopted from

Species Name: Domicornidon (i mixed the latin words that mean "Lord" and "horn" and created my own dinosaur name that means "Horned Lord".)

Life Span: 60-80 years

Breeding: Domicornidons breed in the spring like most animals. The males lift their tails and fluff out their fur to impress the females. If they are challenged by another male, they use their small horns and large feet to fight.

Anatomy:

Head: The head has a large crest where the head and neck meet. A little horn sits at the front base of the crest. When fighting, these parts serve as a weapon and work kind of like a bottle-opener. If the male is strong enough they can quickly grab and lift their enemy slightly and throw it down.

Mouth: The mouth is a small beak. On the inside of the mouth is molar-like teeth. Small ones in the front cut grass and small leaves, while bigger ones in the back chew thicker shrubbery. In the back of the throat is a chamber that emits a loud booming noise which they use to communicate from long distances.

Neck: The neck is long and cannot stretch out straight or be lifted very high.

Feet: The feet are split into 3 claw-like hooves and are somewhat sharp. They use them to fight. They are always light brown, grey, or black.

Tail: The tail is long and skinny with very fine fur that sticks out from both sides. The tails are either black, grey, or white.

Colors: The pelt consists of a wide variety of natural colors. Dark Green is the most common color, but they can be brown, white, black, beige, or various other natural colors. While one color is the more common, at the bottom of the back near the tail there can be spots.

Behavior: Domicornadon's are generally peaceful, despite their intimidating look. They are much like horses. They travel in herds of medium to large numbers and can be startled easily. Their eyesight is not very good, but their hearing is excellent. The only time they act temperamental is in the spring when females are in heat. Similar to an elephant, a liquid secretes from a gland around their cheek area that drips to their mouths and drives them crazy. This last for about two days to a week depending on the maturity of the male.

These creatures have very weak hearts and are prone to heart attacks.

EDIT: Females do not have the horn, but still have the crest.
----------

This is a species that will appear in my comic. It's strange because originally the comic was going to be only wolves. Then horses, dragons, and dinosaurs were added. I'm trying to come up with different ways of making my comic unique and fun. I may make adoptables of this creature in the future. If you would be interested than let me know. :3

Yes lol, I'll only show scales if it's a close-up shot. but from a further distance I don't think those details are very neccessary. Maybe little cracks here or there but nothing too overdone.
