It seems kind of fitting that I've now illustrated this concept three times. It's as though, just as I'm nearing the summit of achievement...

Anyway, as I've said before, I decided to revisit this one (again) because I'd been planning to do that for a while and then last week, Taffeta Darling (a local celebrity), asked me about a poster of it at the Dallas Webcomics Expo . And so that gave me the perfect opportunity to get off my duff and actually revisit it.

This is version 3 now. I polled my watchers to see how they felt about version 2 and they pretty well thumbed their noses at it in favor of the original. And that's why I went back to the drawing board a 3rd time.

Here's a side-by-side of the 3 versions (I tweaked the facial expressions on this last version after the fact and you can see the difference in this side-by-side as well).
