Description Had insomnia tonight so I finally decided to finish the stencil for the plasticard steps for the Merric tank conversion tutorial I've been working on in spurts. I intend to get the tutorial done very soon, I've finally been finishing paining my damned IG army so I'm very nearly there. More stuff on this to come.

As an odd note, its rather challenging to transfer things from a physical medium to a digital one like this, lots of editing and cropping to get the angles and proportions just right.

Also of note is that I decided to change and simplify the design. The earlier versions of the turret design had a somewhat distinctive kink in them on the front right side, which unnecessarily complicated the design and had led to some serious headaches and inconsistencies between my various vesions of the model (I have build and painted 4 merric tanks so far.). To simplify the design I just mirrored the right and left sides of the turret so that it will have a sounder and simpler front slope. This also allowed me to mirror some of the other parts again decreasing the complexity of the design and allowing for greater consistency between models.

So what do you think of this. Note that the finished version will have notes and each piece will be labeled to go along with the rest of the tutorial.
