Description
At the RV Park we stay in here in Ft. Pierce, FL, during the winter there's a twelve-acre "nature walk." It contains flora native to Florida: slash pines, palmetto and cabbage palms among the local species). Sometimes, I try to imagine myself as a Seminole native walking those trails hundreds of years ago. As you walk there, you'll hear a constant rustle in the grass and among the leaves--snakes, mice and lizards. Occasionally, you'll see one scamper across the trail, a reminder of the incredible diversity of critters that live year-round in the mild climate.
