Thing about Zombies, is they eat people right? And you become a zombie by being bitten, but if they eat you you're all gone, nothing left of you, you're history. So, apparently, these zombie epidemics are caused by people who were ALMOST EATEN BUT GOT AWAY when they were attacked by the undead. So maybe when zombies eat people they only have a small bite then move on, but that is NOT what the movies show us. They show crowds of hungry zombies, total carnage, limbs ripped apart when you're captured. Ie - there should be no one left with enough flesh on their corpse to actually become zombies in the first place.

Something to chew on, anyways
