I have decided to restart a project I began way back in 2008/2009 in which I began illustrating mythical creatures. I'm using the list on Wikipedia at [link] . This had been relatively popular so I've decided to redraw the first couple before continuing further.This is my redraw of Á Bao A Qu, a celestial being that has become trapped in our world and now rests at the bottom of the Tower of Victory in Chitor. It follows travelers to the top in hopes of returning home/becoming whole. The stories and interpretations vary.
The parchment background is from google images and does not belong to me.

Most awesome design for the A Bao A Qu i've seen on the internet! Very good design for the creature! I hope you continue this project one day as most of the creatures from my own project (gancanagh22.deviantart.com/jou… are in that wikipedia list! Would love to see Aatxe, Batibat, Cherufe and many others been drawn in the style like this A Bao A Qu, maybe you could sell them to a game compagnie as game-sprites
