lots of things have changed in the last couple of months alone, and this being my first submission on this account, it felt it to be kind of... symbolic to touch it up. make it to my liking, you know? not that travis' editing wasn't awesome, but i wanted some of my own. enjoy.

Ah, my first post on my fresh new devART. It feels good to be doing this again. (:

So, this is a picture from a small series my friend Travis and I did together. We tend to find ourselves in strange places all over Ottawa for photo shoots, and this building was no different. Along the front; decay and grime caked onto bricks and the grates covering windows and doors. Along the back; used needles, rotting water bottles, filth and the remnants of a fire pit that had obviously been recently used. Graffiti? Everywhere. A group of three even signed their names to the door I'm sitting in front of: Joey, Jane, and Snail.

It was cold while we were taking pictures, even though summer hadn't quite come to a close. So as I sat in that doorway, watching the clouds roll in, I said goodbye to the warm breeze before it was gone.
