This guy is the only cockatrice that didn't get taken home at Fanexpo, which totally flummoxed us both since black and red is generally a really well liked colour combo. Go figure!

Anyway, he's a pretty sizeable guy at 9" tall from toes to horns, and is over 25" long. His tail is long enough to wrap around a bag or purse strap, your neck or your arm, and his wings are a bit over 16" from tip to tip.

As with all our poseable horrors, he's all ball and socket joints so he'll be infinitely poseable and nice and sturdy. His pelt is made of a really nice black as well; his sides are sleek and shiny black while his belly is quite short and soft. Hand painted, and sewn by Bones the pattern-wizard, he's also got mismatched eyes (bowie inispired, what can I say?) one blue and one purple swirled.

We put him up on etsy, and he's found a new home. He'll be going all the way to Russia! COOL!
