it is an Amanita Muscaria or Fly Agaric. The juices of this are a type of acid, it can cause coma or illness if eaten raw. (although this is rare)
unless of course prepared by drying at 170 - 200 degrees (in oven) then it can become a hallucinatory mushroom.
the acid turns into something else and that is how the shamans do it.
