Common Horse - DeMarco admires his clean coats and few spots. When his body was coated in the blood of the colt he was forced to kill during his proving he began to take extra care on making sure his coat was as white and pristine as possible. He keeps his mane and tail short so it won't get caught on anything if he needs to make a quick escape.

Unicorn - After escaping Aodh his horn grew tall and thick as he matured. His mane grew long and he liked it that way:using it as a cloak to hide himself. The hair growing on his underbelly made him feel burlier and stronger.

Pegasus - DeMarco lives as a small songbird with the wings of a spotted woodpecker. Not as brave as he fellow pegasi, he only flies when in immediate danger. He prefers being safe on the ground and feels like he is more in control instead of up high in the sky at the wind's mercy.

Hippocampus - With scales matching the color of his teke, DeMarco both loves and hates the bright color. His teke, the same color of his mother's, gives him a sense of familiarity but he dislikes how much it makes him stand out. His fins take after a leafy sea dragon.

Kirin - While his gold plated scales make it hard to blend in to the Onea forests his antlers make him strong. His left antler broke during hard battles and bullying when he was a young Nothing and never grew back. While he remains fully loyal to Digend he likes to think that he inherited Ignacio's strength and fire. His courage makes it easier to live his Vagabond life.

This was a really fun meme to draw! I've been a member of SA for almost a year and I've hardly done any art because of my insane insecurities about my art/character building/interacting with people in general (it's the anxiety babe). This helped me get creative and work with colors (hippocampus), try to do some very very basic shading, and work on some poses that were challenging for me. This took me a while to finish so I hope you enjoy it! This year I want to work more on reaching out and being a bigger part of the community. This is such a lovely group with such nice people and I'm excited for DeMarco's future!
