Description A small tribute to Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away.

I wanted to do some Studio Ghibli fan art, and Spirited Away was one of the first I ever watched.

Oddly enough this is the one still of the film I have stamped in my mind, so when I saw the thumbnail I said, "hey, I know where that's from" Very nice background, kept close roots to the original, but mixed it up a bit.

I also like how you kept Chihiro's lanky legs and arms, as a kid/pre-teen that's when you get sort of awkward.

You think as I do,
for the reason I drew this scene is because it also is stamped on my brain. XD

Lanky thin people are my favorite thing to draw. EVER.
An odd obsession, but there it is. :/

Thank you so much for the comment, it made my day.

No problem I don't know why it choose to stick between the membranes of my brain. I guess that whole realization of "this is real" hit me the same time Chihiro realized it too.

I know what you mean.
Which is probably why Disney got the most awesome American casting ever.
= Porco Rosso,
= Muska,
= Howl,
= Chihiro,
= Totoro.
If that's not the most epic casting ever, I don't know what is.
