Description

HillClan's camp is in a lower region of the hill covered territory, right up against the steep slope of a hill. The camp is well protected from the wind and weather due to its lowered placement, as well as the boulders and bushes that surround it and make up several dens. The only downside to the camp is that it could be flooded easily, especially since it is close to the Fishing Pond. The main entrance of the camp is an opening in the bushes between the elders' and apprentices' dens.

) The leader's den is located in a hollow cave in the side of the hill, whether the ancient cave was created by a badger or fox is unknown. The cave is small and only contains enough room for one or two cats.

) The Hill's Edge is where the leader stands to make announcements to their clan during clan meetings. It is high enough for all the cats in the clearing below to see and hear their leader.

) Much like the leader's den, the medicine cat's den is a cave in the side of the hill. This den is much larger however, with one section for the medicine cat and their apprentice, as well as another branch of the cave for sick patients. Herbs are kept in shelves that have been carved into the cave's dirt walls.

) The nursery is a well protected den, made up of several boulders. Cats enter the den through an opening in the rocks. Kits often like to climb all over the rocks for fun.

) The warriors' den is made up of thick bushes. The earth under the bushes where the warriors sleep is slightly hollowed out and concave, mostly from frequent use, but it gives the den more protection.

) The apprentices' den is a dense clump of tall grasses surrounded by bushes. It is probably the least protected of the dens.

) The elders' den is underneath an old fallen tree, inside a tangle of it's roots. More bushes also surround this den. The tree is used as an easy way for the leader to climb up to the Hill's Edge.

) The fresh kill pile is in the center of the clearing, often filled with rabbits and fish, as well as the occasional bird.
