I was asked to make some cupcakes for a friend's puppy's birthday party. All the children invited were asked to bring their dogs along to play and had to have a matching cupcake.These were made for the children, too much sugar for the dogs. Made from buttercream icing, m&ms, gummy peaches and tootsie rolls.
My faves are the middle two. The yorkie looks like my friend Yvonne's puppy and the pug looks like my brother's dog.

The pink cat was a great success, thankfully. The last attempt was way too pink and Ms. O covered the entire thing with candy so you couldn't tell it was a cat at all, just a hot-pink chocolaty blob.
I want to make some kitty cupcakes and try to make a few breeds, persian, tabby, that squashed-nosed cat Hermione has, etc.

Tootsie Rolls are a chocolate chewie candy. The come in cylinder bite-size shapes. And Klondike bars are squares of vanilla ice cream covered with a crunchy chocolate shell. Reeeeeeeeeally tastey!

That sucks. I haven't had a Klondike in a while then tried one the other week and remembered why they are so f***in' good. Make room in that corner for all those who cannot experience the goodness that is Klondike.

And there are so many more I want to try, like a poodle with curly poof hair, or those dogs that look like foxes.
Then I'll try some cat breeds. I'd love to try one of those flat faced, angry looking cats, like Crookshanks.

I've had a lot of experience with my brother's pug. He's a sweetie, though a tad crazy, and can lick your face clear off with the size of his tongue. Picture that Pokemon Lick-a-tongue.
