Very nice! Especially impressive given the fact it's edited together from smartphone photos.
It amuses me that whoever is leading the defending side isn't very good at tactics - if only they'd deployed their shield wall inside the gap instead of in front...

I don't know : if I understand correctly they outnumber their foes on the beach so it makes sense to try to surround them before reinforcements come from the boats. A shieldwall is not necessarly a defensive formation.

The way you added color is really inspiring.
I've started a course in Illustration just to unlock the natural fears for doing things you're not familiar with.
Watercolor is definitely something I prefer. Much more than digital painting anyway (even if I admit D.Painting is faster/convenient when working professionally)

I guess we have a Valkyrie's-eye view! I really admire the perspective; there's an awful lot of detail here and it all looks so accurate. Even the change in color as the water deepens. Bravo!
