Description Study based on this awesome image; [link] by who rocks my socks on a regular bases Inspirational.

Started out as a study (how does she do that?) and turned out somewhat bigger. I liked it enough to post, but I recognize I have no 'intellectual rights' to this image.

Like how you managed to give those "far and big land"-look with this small horseman in the front and those huge mountains in the background.

I like the continualy increasing confidence of your brush strokes. Just please let me ask, how did you paint the blur of these mountains in the background? It is some handy ps tool or hand painted?

Thanks. The blur is handpainted. It's mostly just less detailed or saturated. The clouds are a few differently textured brushes. Next to those textured brushes I never use soft edged ones.

I have noticed that as time goes by you are using the soft edged ones less and less Great job with the blur I really love it

Yeah, soft edges make stuff look... unreal. So just for fogs or clouds they can be usefull. For the rest, I avoid them.
