funky world shape. will the ley lines influence geological aspects?

they may, Ive not designed them to do that per-say.

Why is there a star-circle? Is it like the map's watermark?

So when you say "geologically and biologically young", how young are we talking here?

I dont want to pin down a year date yet. Geologically Continental drift and volcanic activity has shifted things around maybe about half as much as earth. Biologically native elements are single celled and cell colony based and has in the last few Melania switched from anaerobic to an aerobic photosynthetic state.

So the world is inhabited by just microbes then. Interesting.
Incidentally, you could conceivably make your world quite young indeed if you wanted to. When one considers the fact that evolution does not follow any set rate or path, it becomes clear things such as the development of photosynthesis and so on could well happen a lot earlier in your planet's history than on Earth.
