I guess... Those animals shouldn't be in a zoo.

they have wonderful exhibit. They are happy there. They are still active and curious. They rise their wonderful cubs - and they represent beauty of wolves to people, who have not seen those magical creatures before.
THAT's function of ZOOs.

Hahahaha, how do you know that they are happy in the zoo? Any animal could be happy in the zoo.

I'm 16 years old, my birthday was in March, and I know more about zoos than I would like to. I was in the zoo two years ago, and saw crazy bears screaming and walking as penguins; people was laughing with them suffering. I saw the same with the other animals: some was better or worse, but no one was feeling nice, I'm sure. Maybe in Spain ZOOs aren't the same and there are better, and animals feel better; but here, I see ZOOs as hell. And I think that wolves haven't to be in captivity, but if they are ok there I have nothing to say (but sorry for my English :S)

not all ZOOs are similar, OH MY GOD!
Czech ZOOs are great and they provide huuuuge space to animals. For example our wolves pack (the wolves you are talking about) live in HUUUUUUGE enclosure which is so BIG and NATURAL, that when the cubs were born last time, ZOO staff did not know about them until the baby wolves left their burrow.
Stop saying bad words about things you do not know. This ZOO deserves ,,big thank you" for presenting animals to people.

Let me say that, at first, I'm sorry, but, too, I'll want to say that any animal should be in captivity; and, in a zoo, they are in captivity. There are good ZOOs and bad ZOOs; while I'd know that there are bad ZOOs, I won't stop saying that words, and, as I say; good or bad ZOOs, both force animals to be there; if you would be an animal, would you want to be in a ZOO? I doubt it.

hi. Do you remember how you talked about cruel exhibits for animals in many ZOOs? I told you then, that those wolves have absolutely wonderful home in our ZOO. If you are still interested, you can look at their home here -[link] .

maybe I would like to be in ZOO. Do you think being in the wild is funny? It is atractive for PEOPLE to watch animals in the wild. For them, it is battle to survive, day by day. If they break their leg, they die in pain. If they do not find enought food, they starve to death. It is no fun. It is real, cruel life.
Yes, I think some animals would prefere ZOO with nice exhibit, great medical care, enought food.
And yopu trully do not understand function of ZOOs. Those facilities are saving many species, which would become exctinct without ZOOs.
Zoos also teach people about animals, how people should love creatures and protect them.
Hahaha, at first, teach WHOLE mankind how to behave to animals and THEN no ZOO will be neccessity.

Beautiful critters. Why can't domestic dogs look as cool as wolves? Why do they have to look like Yorskhire Terriers and their fell ilk?
*sigh*

What kind of dog is it? I've heard of the Tamaskan, but those are Finnish if I recall correctly.

This is an absolutely amazing shot. It's hard to believe that it's something that would be able to be shot in a zoo, but then again there have only been a few zoos that I've had the oppurtunity to visit.
However, as I said this is very well done. The focus and the detail that the camera was able to capture is amazing.
