Relax, there is nothing to worry, this will not happen, as a friend he read by Twitter of some of the people who work in the series (including Meghan McCarthy) have said very clearly that no immortality it will go into Twilight and she will never leave her friends.

I have the headcanon that the Alicorns can't die of old, Like the elves from TLOR,Β however they can be killed and therefore they can't be considered immortal.

while the other ponies in the accident are killed.

wait...i think twilight isnt invincible; if she gets killed by an unnatural cause she will die but she can still live for eternity if she doesnt.. but i guess thatd be a good way to implement it...

Twilight looked upon the graves. Upon the graves of the five ponies most precious to her, whose love changed her in many ways. Better, or worse, she could not know, nor see, as she was. The pain was beyond description, beyond thought.
Celestia appeared next to her, as if like a ghost, and embraced the young immortal with her wing, while her hoof pointed towards beyond twilight, to a group of gravestones a hundred yards away. Hundreds of stones, each bearing a name and a description of the decease nature and virtues, stood silently. the ground before the graves was worn and eroded as if by water.
"I know this pain well, twilight. I know it with the intimacy of a lover. Tyhrough all my life, through all the generals and guards and allies and bakers and..... and family, this pain is the only companion that can endure as i endure. Yet the pain means well. It exists to remind me of all the little ponies i knew, an ach in my chest to remind me of the love i gave and the love i received in turn. Without it, i may have forgotten them all.
"Your pain means well too. It wants to make sure you never, ever forget these wonderful ponies. without it they would fade from your memory and all the adventures and warmth will be lost to you. As the years go by, more stones shall be added. Grim reminders protecting the warmest of emotions. Yet the pain, the graves, serve only to remind you for so long. One day, you shall join those you lvoe in enternity, and i will join mine before you. And your stone shall be added to the heart of those you leave behind, so that Pain can remember your name.
"It shall be all right, my little pony. It shll be all right."
