Description
The Gaean (GAI-ahn) Imperium is an absolute monarchy situated in the Eagle's Nest Nebula. According to the Gaean Calendar their empire was founded in 10,000 GC by Imperator Aleiarius, 75 years after the Gaean's first landed on their haven of Svoboukan—between 1.1050–75 RDC according to the Rift Date Criterion.

This is a chronological discrepancy due to the nature of the Eagle's Nest; the nebula like others of its type are known as Alium Nebulae, crimson in colour that significantly affect spacetime when ventured into. For the Gaean's when they arrived in the Eagle's Nest in 1.1050 RDC, spacetime was vastly increased from a few years within the Rift outside the nebula, to centuries even millennia within.

In 1.3300 RDC under Imperator Vetralianus the imperium returned to the Rift, after the Gaean's had spent centuries years within the Eagle's Nest in isolation.
